FASE es un encuentro de Arte, Ciencia y Tecnología que se realiza una vez al año. Diferentes universidades, galerías de arte, y grupos artísticos se reúnen para mostrar sus trabajos.

FASE is an exhibition where Art, Science and Technology meet and is held once a year. Different universities, art galleries and arts groups gather to show their work.

Este año participé junto con Agustín Peccia, Lucía Kuschnir, Leo Nuñez, Juan José Tirigal, Alexander Boyman y Sebastián Pasquel, en la sala 4 del Centro Cultural la Recoleta. La curaduría de la exposición estuvo a cargo de Mariela Yeregui.

This year I participated along with Augustine Peccia, Kuschnir Lucia, Leo Nuñez, Juan José Tirigal, Alexander Boyman and Sebastian Pasquel, in the Recoleta Cultural Center. The exhibition was curated by Mariela Yeregui.

Sinopsis descriptiva del proyecto:

Este proyecto consiste en un objeto escultórico en equilibrio y una pantalla de televisión que transmite una de las infinitas realidades del mismo.

El objeto está construido con piezas metálicas de descarte y entre sus  partes hay un contenedor transparente con agua. Este envase es filmado constantemente mediante una cámara de video, la cual transmite en vivo el desplazamiento del agua dentro del envase.
  

El objeto escultórico se encuentra en equilibrio y posee un dispositivo mecánico que es activado por el espectador mediante su presencia. El mecanismo hará que el objeto se balancee y el agua en el interior del contenedor se desplace de un lado a otro. El movimiento del líquido, será transmitido en vivo en la pantalla del televisor. 

Descriptive overview of the project:

This project consists of a sculptural object in equilibrium and a television screen that transmits one of the infinite realities of it.
The object is built with discarded metal parts and between its parts is a transparent container with water. This container is constantly filmed by a video camera which transmits live, the movement of water within the container.


The sculptural object is in equilibrium and has a mechanism that is activated by the viewer with its presence. The mechanism causes the object to swing and the water inside the container is moved from side to side. The movement of the liquid, will be broadcast live on the TV screen.

Concepto:

La presencia del espectador es el detonante de una acción que altera un paisaje. El paisaje es manipulado a partir de un nuevo recorte visual que lo devuelve re significado.

Concept:

The presence of the viewer is the trigger for an action that alters a landscape. The landscape is manipulated from a new visual cut re significated.

Este año FASE 5 coincidió con la noche de los museos, evento en el cual todos los Museos de Buenos Aires abren sus puertas gratis al público hasta las 3 de la mañana. Es realmente concurrido y pudimos ver y conversar con diferentes tipos de público.

Este year FASE 5 coincided with the night of the museums. Event in which the museums open their doors without charging admission until 3 in the morning. It's really crowded and we could see and talk to different audiences.
